The following rules are set in place by CCP in an effort to reduce the amount of character scams, GM workload and player frustration.
Character bazaar scams are strictly forbidden by CCP. The selling of accounts is prohibited; characters may only be sold individually. Bumping is allowed only by the character who started the thread once per calendar day. Proof of skillpoint count for the character you are selling must be provided for the auction to be valid.
The seller may choose to renege on a deal at any time, prior to the transaction being completed. Whenever a character is transferred before the seller has moved the ISK received from the sale to another one of their characters, the Customer Support team will return that ISK to the rightful owner.
Its economy too is not the usual MMORPG affair, where all items are a linear upgrade to the last model, and 95% of everything is utterly worthless.
Does this need to be updated to 0.9 for it to work again or am I doing something wrong?
I almost uninstalled EVE Online partway through the oddly crashy character creation process. I suspect a great many people are, as perhaps do its creators CCP, who recently released probably their most significant update ever, called Ascension (aka the Alpha update). Let’s start with how the Alpha system works, because “it’s gone free to play” is a wholly inadequate explanation of what CCP are actually doing. Players paid a monthly fee, with an option to pay with in-game currency instead.
STEP 1: Define exactly what kind of character you want/need.
